Computer Networks OSI & Security

This book deals with computer networks fundamental in reference with ISO-OSI network model & Network Security fundaments. In this book every aspect and task of network is defined with concerned layer of OSI model. All the seven layers defined in such a manner that one can understand what task is executed in which layer and with protocol name. In this book, I tried to correlate the OSI reference model and TCP/IP model layer by layer. This book also includes some important TCP/IP utilities to know, how to diagnose or mange TCP/IP based network in your computer. In further chapters this book focus on Internet, WWW and related terms. Additionally, basics of Information & cyber security is also described in the last chapter of this book.

I had a simple goal in writing this book to make, learners easy to understand the layered approach of OSI model. Each layer is defined in structured manner. All major tasks involved in each layer of OSI model is explained in detail and all associated protocols for the same are mentioned. The other major goal behind writes this book, to make the terms easy to understand for self-learning.
