This compilation of knowledge of Ayurveda and Modern medicine was not easy. It involved lot of help from our colligues active in various fields of Ayurveda and colligues from the faculty of modern medicine. Generously these extra ordinary friends helped us to integrate all this complex data into a single book. We are in their debt for all time.

The difficult task of publishing this book was undertaken by Mr. Praveen Gupta of Chaukhamba Sanskrit Pratishthan, Delhi without any complaint. He has painstakingly worked well on this book from the very beginning. We sincerely thank him for all the efforts.
