A Harbinger of Harmony offers a bird's eye-view of the life and letters of Sri Sharif Saheb of Shishunala village in North Karnataka. It traces the strange life of this unusual saint and popular philosopher known for harmonizing the Virasaiva, the Vedic and the Islamic philosophies of life. He was a mystic poet, social satirist, folk artist and an occultist known for his clairvoyance and clairaudience. He is popularly known as the 'Kabir' of Karnataka.
