Excavations at Saunphari and Explorations in Ganga Plain

the archaeological Investigations in Uttar Pradesh are being carried out since several decades but still a large is luing unecplored. keeping in view such areas I selected a part of ganga plain including the districts of Unnao, Hardoi, Kannauj, Farrukhabad, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, kheri-lakhimpur, and sitapur for exensive village-to-village explorations and archaeological excavations on a few selected early settkements.
