Description
The bulk of this volume is a collection of the poetical works of Sri Bhagavan in Tamil script, in his own handwriting.
Besides writing in Tamil, Sri Bhagavan also wrote or made translations in Sanskrit, Telugu and Malayalam languages. He also selected and trans-lated certain Sanskrit works of Shankara and others and transliterated them as well (into Tamil). All the works in other languages - either by him or others have been transliterated here. For full details on this, Appendix I may kindly be referred to.
With the exception of Atma Bodham and Ekanma Unmai (added later) his is a replica of the notebook specially prepared by Sri Bhagavan for the use of Swami Sivananda, his personal attendant. The original manuscript has unfortunately been lost to posterity.
This was originally published by the Kanvashrama Trust, Tiruvannamalai in 1987. The Ashram is happy to bring out a second edition, on its own.
