"The Fragrant Essence" is born out of the lectures given by Swamiji on Sankara's "Sadacara Anusandanam'. The year was 1989 and the setting was the foothills of the Himalayas on the banks of Ganga.
Swamiji's thoughts and revelation left the campers exhilirated. Words were playing the magic of revealing the Truth behind them.
The text 'Sadacara Anusandanam' is itself wery unique in the sense that Bhagavan Sankara takes, simple words as 'snanam' (bathing) and 'maunam' (silence) make them reveal the Absolute. Swamiji, adding Beauty to Beauty, draws an exquisite pen picture of the ultimate travel, where the traveller dissolves in the Destination.
