Prelude to My Findings

This book contains my some of the Research Papers, Presi-dential Addresses, Lectures and Articles presented by me from time to time in the conferences held in India and abroad.

The title of the book was conceived by me long back when I had a privilege to have discussions with a great Indologist Dr. A.L. Basham, the author of the book titled as 'Wonder that was India'. During the discussions, he agreed my point that instead of 'Wonder', it is 'Wisdom' in the ancient India which was more important. Hence this book bears the title 'Wisdom that was In-dia'.

I have, while including my different articles, tried to avoid any repetitions. If any repetitions are found, they are inevitable in the context and, therefore, readers will please endure.

On account of my age (89), I had taken some help from SarvaShri Manoj Pandey (Dehradun), V.R. Deekshit, Prabhakar Page of Indore. I am thankful to them. The publishers also de-serve my thanks.
