The word "Astrology"is derived from two Greek words, "astro" and "logos" which literally mean the doctrine and law as shown by the stars and planets. The practice of astrology, by ancient folk, dates back 5,000 years, in countries like China, Rome, Babylon, Greece, India, Egypt, and Arabia. For these ancient people, astrology was a noble science.
This science gradually evolved and has since acquired its modern-day aspects, which include an understanding of the universe, the galaxies and the solar system. A large part of modern science, in fact, is derived from astrological studies. however, even though modern science concentrates largely on cosmology, there is still minimal significance given to the combination of cosmology with biology.
